9 February 2015

Still struggling to find gift ideas in time for Valentines Day? Don't worry about it. I got you covered - all curtsy of the wonderfully talented creatives on YouTube! It's always giving presents to the people you love. Valentines Day doesn't have to just be about that special someone. It can just be about the people you love having in your life, from your friends to your parents - even your cat if you have one! So for all of you still searching for some last minute gift ideas, here's a few ideas to help you get started.

1. A Jar of Hearts
In this tutorial, Sylvia Beautycakez creates this simplistic but classic Jar of Love which is filled with yummy goodness - all sugary in goodness - alongside love notes in between to bring a smile to your Valentine's face. The best thing about those little notes, is you can keep them long after you've devoured the candy!

2. Heart Wall Decor
This funky art decoration by - one of my favourite YouTubers LaurDIY - is so adorable! What's great about this lovely piece of art work is, it can also be hung up long after Valentine's Day is over too! Perfect for all of those into funky DIY's, and want to give some unique and unexpected to their love one.

3. A Coupon Book
This Coupon Book (Gift Number 3) by DazzleDIY is a personally customised and almost inexpensive gift that is so adorable. You can make coupons for anything - from hugs, an Saturday afternoon trip to anywhere, or even a chance to watch that person's favourite movie. It's a wonderful way of showing someone how much you appreciate them by considering their hobbies and interests.

4. Personalised Mugs
Personalised Sharpie Mugs are always an adorable way gift option. There's something so classically awesome about having handwritten customised mugs given to you as a present. It's a wonderful way thing to see in the morning, when you're getting your daily dose of coffee. I know if it was me, I'd be left with a smile on my face! JennsPhilosophy's tutorial has simple and clear instructions that are easy to follow, with some inspiration on what you could put on your mug as well!

5. 'Together Let's' List
Inspired by Tumblr, aWildflowerLife came up with idea of a 'Together Let's' List, where you could give your Valentine a framed list of things you and they could do together. From future plans you have in mind, things you've always talked about doing (like skiing or go-karting) or even the places you want to visit. It's such a wonderful present that is adorable.

So who will you be spending Valentines Day with?
